Basic Tournament Orientation (Compulsory for all participants of SPNS 2008)

The Basic Tournament Orientation (BTO) is developed to ensure that all participants for SPNS are competent to play competitive paintball. This orientation course is endorsed by the Paintball Association of Singapore (PBAS). In this course, participants will learn about paintball safety and paintball marker handling so as to ensure a safe playing environment for everyone. In this 2 hours orientation course, participants will be required to undergo a theory and practical session of safety in paintball on and off the playing field. Participants who do not meet the necessary requirement will not be allow to participate in the SPNS.

Cost - $35.90 per participant (Paintballs included and Player's ID card for SPNS Leg 3 if registered with a team).

Player's ID tag is endorsed by Paintball Association (Singapore) for SPNS and all PBAS organized tournament.

* Participants of the SPNS will only need to attend the BTO once. For Leg 3, participants who have previously attended the BTO in Leg 1 and Leg 2 will only need to pay for the Player's ID tag.

The Basic Marshalling Orientation (BMO) is a one day orientation developed to introduce participants to the basics of refereeing paintball games at the Singapore Paintball Novice Series (SPNS). The orientation will be conducted by the Paintball Association of Singapore (PBAS). In this course, participants will learn about tournament rules and how to apply them on the field. There will be a theory and practical session where participants will be assessed and certified to officiate in the SPNS. All BMO participants will be endorsed to officiate SPNS and all PBAS organized tournaments.

Cost - $30.00 per participant (Inclusive of course materials)

Participants who have passed the BMO will be paid for their services when officiating during SPNS 08.

* Participants of the SPNS who undergo the BMO will not be allow to officiate in the SPNS.

Paintball Techniques Workshop - Conducted by Red Sevens

Formed in 2006, the Red Sevens Paintball Team is the first tournament paintball team in Singapore. Having participated in more than 10 paintball tournaments such as the Werdnahol Cup, Xtionpaintball Cup, Penang Cup, JB Fitness Challenge Cup and Asia World Cup 2007, the Red Sevens will share their paintball techniques and fundamentals to participants of the SPNS. Workshop will cover areas such as:

- Break out
- Snap Shooting
- How to play in bunkers
- Specific positional drills and movement

Cost - $120.00 per participant (Inclusive of 500 paintballs)
